Grief comes in many forms, and it rarely follows a straight path. It can feel like a deep ache, a fog of confusion, or an emptiness that words can’t quite reach. While we often associate grief with the death of a loved one, it can also emerge through other significant losses—the end of a relationship or partnership, the loss of a dream or role, the passing of a pet, or the gradual loss of independence or health. Sometimes grief is ambiguous—a mourning that lingers without clear closure or recognition.

Counselling offers a gentle, grounded space to honour your experience of loss in all its complexity. Together, we make room for the full range of emotions—sadness, anger, guilt, love, even moments of peace— and allow them to unfold with compassion and care. Grief is not something to move past, but something to move with. Through presence and reflection, you are invited to find meaning in the midst of loss, and to rediscover traces of hope, grace, and life along the way.
